Blacksmithing in the Park
Discover the craftsmanship and traditions that helped shape early Golden. Blacksmithing in the Park invites you to step back in time and experience a live blacksmithing demonstration inside a recreated 1800s blacksmith shop.
Join a knowledgeable volunteer for a relaxed morning of observation and learning, complete with historic tools and a coal fired forge. Bring your questions and your camera and enjoy a hands on look at this essential historic trade.

- Where: Golden History Park, 1020 11th St, Golden, CO 80401
After your visit, stop by the Golden History Museum, open Saturdays until 4:30 p.m. Admission is free to both the park and the museum.
