Christmas Tree Recycling in Green Mountain

Lakewood residents can recycle their Christmas trees through the city’s seasonal drop off program, available December 26th through January 11th. Trees can be brought to Lakewood’s Greenhouse at 9556 W. Yale Ave, located between Estes and Old Kipling. Follow the on-site signs to leave your tree in the designated collection area.

This program is free for Lakewood residents. Before dropping a tree off, pleas9556 W. Yale Avee remove all decorations, including wire, ornaments, nails, and tinsel. Only natural Christmas trees from households are accepted. Wreaths, garlands, loose branches, and trees from private contractors will not be taken. Mulch is available upon request.
